Oh, Thanx for your opinions
Athlon.
So, I decide to choose Athlon now.
But, next question is 選甚麼chipsets?
1. AMD 761
2. Via KT266-E
3. Ali M1647

Yeah. Of course, you should spend some time and energy. If you just wanna focus on Music.... Just choose Mac. I always tell my friends.
Don't choose Windows PC if you are new to it.

So, my decision is....
VIA KT266A Chipsets
AMD palomino XP 1.6G.....
Windows XP ready...

I found this old topics, Here are some Update Suggestion from PCaudioLabs

---------------------------------

Building a Digital Audio Workstation is easy. Choosing the right components is tricky.

The most critical components of a DAW are:

Motherboard.
Must be compatible with all attached devices, most importantly your audio PCI card. Also, must be easliy configurable because IRQ conflicts must be easy to solve should they occur.

Recommendations...
Dual Pentium III - Supermicro P3TDE6-G
Dual AMD Athlon - Tyan Tiger MPX S2466 or ASUS A7M266-D
Pentium 4 - Abit TH7-II Raid (Rambus memory) or ASUS P4B-266D (DDR SDRAM)
AMD Athlon - Abit KR7A133-RAID or ASUS A7V333

CPU (Central Processing Unit).
A fast CPU allows for more Native Processing power in you audio recording/sequencing program. General rule, the faster, the better, and dual processors are great if the budget is right. A Dual Pentium III system is a proven work horse. Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon CPUs can be faster and are becomming standard.

Memory.
PC133 SDRAM is the slowest and most affordable. DDR SDRAM is the faster than PC133 SDRAM and costs a bit more. Rambus RAM is the fastest of the bunch and has the highest price tag. The Memory you select depends on what the Motherboard uses.

Hard Disk Drive.
Three things to consider.
Rotational Speed, expressed in rpm (revolutions per minute) - faster is better.
Seek Time, in milleseconds - lower is better.
Transfer Rate, MB/sec (megabytes per second) - faster is better.

A typical IDE drive will have 7200rpm, 8.9ms seektime with an ATA-100 transfer rate (ATA-100 = 100 MB/sec). A SCSI drive can have the same statistics except the Transfer Rate would be expressed as Ultra-160 (Ultra-160 = 160 MB/sec).

SCSI or IDE? It all depends. SCSI is slightly more expensive and a seperate controller card is required. IDE cost less and works just as fine as SCSI. With SCSI you can acheive a higher track count, and if you plan to do video and audio editing, SCSI is the way to go. If you not sure which one to choose, send us an email and let us help you reach a decision.

Graphics Card.
For a Dual Monitor setup, go with a Matrox G450 or G550. Otherwise, any Graphics Card will do.

CD-R/RW Drives.
We recommend Plextor drives when it comes to burning your mix down to CD. Burning Audio above 8x is not recommended. Taiyo Yuden CD-R media is amongst the highest quality.
