Hi, Aster, just by reading your message, basically, your ground wire that soldered on the volume pot may be in bad contact. Check it. Also, check whether there was another ground wire with one end soldered on the back of the volume pot, the other end connect to the jack socket. If you are changing pu on your Fender, why are you taking out the tremolo bridge ? Changing pu do not have anything do with the bridge. If you cannot understand what I am talking about.
