分享一下Michael Lewis他自己試過的speaker的看法.雖然是針對Fuchs ODS,但是還是可以大約看出端倪. 1. Celestion Gold有非常好的clean跟Distortion. 2. G12-65有較好的distortion 3. EVM12L 的clean非常棒. Opinions always vary so understand that the speaker that rocks my world may sound like a jello filled oatmeal box to you -- so remember to try at your own risk. However, most people have been able to benefit from my recommendations so here goes: Note: Celestion Gold and Blue are Alnico speakers (simply fabulous!) Fuchs ODS or TDS (scroll down for Frost, Train 45 and the 65 amps line). 212's 100 watt model -- favorite, Pair of Celestion Gold (best clean and distortion) 100 watt model -- 2nd fav, pair of G1265 (best distortion) 100 watt model -- G12H30 recommended for Strats (very smooth and creamy) this gives you a 60 watt cab though I know guys that are using this with 100 watt amps, realize you can't push this configuration to the limits (but would you need to?) 100 watt model -- Celestion Gold and G12H30 100 watt model -- Celestion Gold and Classic Lead 80 100 watt model -- EV12L and Classic Lead 80 (very clean) 112 100 watt -- Celestion Gold -- though you have to be careful. This is a 50 watt speaker that will blow if pushed too hard. 100 watt -- G1265 this will take more heat. I've had good success with this speaker in a 112 also. 100 watt -- Classic Lead 80 you'll get some okay sounds with this but it's not a top recommendation. 100 watt -- EV12L only use as directed. If you're doing Stevie Ray or Larry Carlton specific, you have my permission to use this speaker. 212 50 watt model -- Pair of Celestion Gold 50 watt model -- pair of G1265 50 watt model -- G12H30's 50 watt model -- Celestion Gold and G12H30 50 watt model -- Celestion Gold and Classic Lead 80 50 watt model -- EV12L and Classic Lead 80 (very clean) The 50 watt model is a little underpowered for this but it will work. 112 50 watt model -- Celestion Gold 50 watt model -- G1265 50 watt model -- G12H30 -- don't push it too hard. 50 watt model -- Classic Lead 80 you'll get some okay sounds with this but it's not a top recommendation. 50 watt model -- EV12L use only as directed (see 100 watt notes) 212 30 watt model -- Pair of Celestion Gold 30 watt model -- Pair of Celestion Blues 30 watt model -- pair of G1265 30 watt model -- G12H30's 30 watt model -- Celestion Gold and G12H30 112 30 watt model -- Celestion Gold 30 watt model -- G1265 30 watt model -- G12H30

感謝分享!樓上那個 Alessandro 是把 Hi-Fi 的搞法拿到樂器產業,也算是一種市場區隔,且也真的有這種需求。那些 amps 真的很 hi-end! 不過那些 cabs 的價格實在貴到有些誇張.....畢竟幾塊木頭用鋸齒狀接合,再怎麼 "高階手工" 也就是那樣了。 參考一下小弟另外一個 2x12 cab....這個有點離譜,拿到後擺了好幾個月還沒有時間裝 speakers,所以圖片可以看到兩個孔。這個 cab 是我指定的大小,外加後面客製 4 片不同大小可拆卸的面板 (總共 連不裝面板共 5 種組合),若再加 maple 選項,可能價格也只有 Alessandro 的六成。 等我有時間把 speakers 裝上去再跟大家分享這個 solid pine、不同後方面板的 cab!
感謝S.Steven的回覆 小弟知道GOLD/BLUE的差異 不過就我所之鮮少人將2*12 配置兩顆GOLD 大多數都會GOLD*1+G12H或者其他...我想是為了中和的效果吧 至於BLUE 目前訪間市售量產CAB也只看到VOX出一款BLUE*2 之所以會這樣問 是因為很多人說GOLD&BLUE的本質相近差異並不大 所以好奇這兩者配在一起音色究竟如何 ANYWAY對器材小弟一直認為適當最重要 全部都用高檔聲音並不一定會是最好(比方GOLD*2) 平價的GREENBACK小弟也是非常喜歡~是真的很好聽 只是剛好之前跟友人常談到關於SPEAKER的討論 又剛好這個討論區開張 對於一些市售量產品牌少見的SPEAKER想多瞭解一些 故參與此討論與提問~ 很開心看到這個討論區開張 各位的發表言論小弟獲益甚多 請大家繼續分享~~
很少有兩個glod,我可以想到的原因是,應該是太貴了. 1個blue配一個glod,應該可以輕鬆應付100W的head. 一個gold要289美金!!!! unloaded Cabinet一個才3xx.....
很少人會將 Celestion Blue + Gold,不過不會是因為價格。兩者音質是真的很像 (或說音性很類似......),但因為 headroom 不同,同樣的 amp 輸出力度相同時,產生的 speaker breakup 等是不太一樣的,所以混合時會有不太相同的互補感。 另外 15W 的 speaker 配上 50W 的 speaker 並不會真的可以 "輕鬆應付" 100W 的 head。實際上真正的承載空間是 30W,而非一般以為的 65W。不過這類承載 range 我的看法是,一般 speakers 都被原廠保守計算,再加上除非你前後級都開超大.....通常這樣時,在 speakers 弄壞前,你的耳朵和窗戶可能早受不了了。所以 100W 的 head 去配 "算起來" 只有 30W 的 speaker cab 是很 ok 的,只是用的時候要小心些、知道自己在幹嘛。 剛好有人提到 Celestion Green。它也是很棒、又超便宜的 speaker!喜歡 overdrive/ distortion 中頻的網友可以考慮這款 speaker。另外 speakers、cabs 說實在的,只有在你裝上去用自己的設備彈一次,才會知道是不是你要的,而且往往是一翻兩瞪眼。看什麼 Youtube、reviews、比價格看材料.....卻相當不準確。
我用 Weber Vintage 12A150 Alnico + British Silver Bell Alnico 大概有兩年了... 很滿意現在 classic Fender + smooth Marshall 的組合... 由於是 alnico, breakup 會比較 smooth, 輕的 rhythm or clean tone很好聽... hign gain 下去, Silver Bell 確實有 Marshall stack greenback 上身的感覺, 老的那種... 總之, Weber 整體感覺比較 Hi-Fi, 顆粒比較細緻, 有時想要錄一些髒髒毛邊較多的, 反而是難事...

請問瓦數, 敏感度, 跟音量的關西 2x12" (140watt) vintage 30 (100db) + heritage (G12H -100db) 跟 4x12" (100watt) greenback (G12M - 98db) 哪一個比較大聲呢?
跟室友借來測試的CAB~都裝了Gold! 配上Walter woods MI-200 amp聲音實在好~ 測試結果~我不是很喜歡V30 and G12t75配Dumble like amp G12 65似乎配Dumble我比較喜歡~聲音比較沒有那麼"硬" 不過純粹個人想法~等工作室用好了可以歡迎大家來參觀~

最近有看到,國外玩家也蠻推薦ASW KTS-70來搭配D Style Amp. 最近一直在想找奇怪的speaker,上面的ASW是其中之一. 後來又發現有個Fane Speaker. 他最出名的大概就是AXA-12 (Alnico). Fane speakers were a staple in Hiwatt and Orange cabs in the late '60s and early '70s. The AXA-12's fiberglass voice coil makes it the power-handling champ of this roundup. But even at low volumes, this speaker exudes a raucous, aggressive vibe. The AXA-12 found a tonal soul mate in our 50-watt Marshall, belching out tough crunch with tight low-end and a snarling midrange. 那是指 "Resonant Frequency",吉他用的 speaker 通常在 82Hz 以下。其實也沒什麼難的,你可以把 speaker cone 想成或說就像大的手鼓 (frame drum) 一樣,如果材質、張力都平均的話,你用手指敲會有一個固定的音 (儘管基音會或多或少因敲的力度而有一點點高低差別或其他 overtones 混在一起的情形),那個音就是基音,在 speaker 上稱作 "Resonant Frequency"。 基本上如果張力越緊,其頻率越高;尺寸越大則越低;當然材質等因素也影響,但和上述手鼓的比喻沒有什麼差別。 通常 "Resonant Frequency" 越高,音色越亮,反之則 "沈",不過這只是音性的一個因素,實際上不見得。另外 "Resonant Frequency" 也會影響到 ohm 係數的變化,更會影響到 cab 的封閉箱體設計,特別是 Hi-Fi 領域,在 open-back 箱體則沒有差別。但在電吉他的領域自然沒那麼講究,怕什麼共振、駐波、箱體 distortion......等,反正樂手要的是好聽,而不是忠實呈現 (電吉他不是 acoustic 樂器,本來聲音就已經扭曲了)。 話說 speaker 的規格、什麼 resonant frequency 也不是很重要。因為只有裝上你的 cab 和搭配後才會發現聽起來是怎麼樣。我覺得這些數據的參考價值是: 當你已經很熟悉某一廠的至少兩款 speakers 後,後來同一廠的選擇的確是可以參考數據、紙上談兵的。至少像 Celestion 的數據在我想像前與實際操作後是還挺接近的。但若沒有熟悉其一兩款 speakers,光是比較數據,或是比較不同廠的數據,則沒有什麼太大的用途。
