Never had a chance to play the Revolution one, so really can't comment on it. The Krankenstine I played actually did have a distinctive warmth to its tone and I believe the louder volume had something to do with it. Simply put, with the volume past 3, it sounded much warmer than when it's on 2. I eventually got the chance to cranked it up to 5 for a brief moment (about 30 seconds), but the manager was already glaring at me. It was way too fuxxing loud for the show room. Lucky me... it was 10:30 am, and I have been one of their favorite customers.
